        if you bring a car through customs saying it's for parts, they put a salvage title on it

          ^^^not a problem in many states. Reconstruct the car, take it to the state for inspection, and they'll issue you a new VIN and clear title.

              as long as it is 15 years old or older its legal to import into canada... its just a matter of paying the fees and having it inspected
