I was cleaning out my computer the other day, and I found a bunch of pictures of my first Festiva. I thought I'd share.

What can I say? I'm a unique guy. I used to say that driving that car was like driving a Hawaiian shirt.Axlander9289, brother of ThisVelologist

The mono wiper was a modification that became necessary when the metal holding the drivers side wiper spindle fatigued away to nothing. I just took out the drivers' side linkage, rotated the passenger side wiper about 45 degrees on the spline, and added an oversize wiper blade.
When I bought it the Festiva decal was gone off of the back, hence the junkyard Festiva badge. I found the "L" in my grandpa's spare nuts and bolts can. He said it was either from a Rambler or a Plymouth. I don't know why I didn't just take the L off of the junkyard car, but whatever, it was a long time ago.
I sold this car in July 2005 when I bought an '88 Lincoln Town Car. That was probably the stupidest car related decision I ever made. I wish I still had this car. My friends and family say they still see it around Lexington sometimes. I believe them too. It's tough to miss an aqua and pink Festiva with one wiper.Axlander9289, brother of ThisVelologist
