I'm getting tired of running an open element MAF and I couldn't run a filter because the battery was right where the intake goes on the BP-01. I got some Protege parts coming so I can finally get one installed. I hate remote mounted batteries, plus in a Festiva with a swap you'll want the most weight over the wheels that you can... even if it's only a little bit. I couldn't even fit a Honda Civic (51R) style battery and get the intake in. So I got a gel mat battery out of a Jump Pack. It's supposed to be around 400 ca, I have a friend who runs something this sized in his 240SX to clear the intercooler piping, so hopefully this will work for me too. However, I am running E85 and it takes a little bit to fire up (5-7) seconds when it's cold out. Back to the battery and the tray, I used 6160 T6 aluminum and TIG welded a tray to fit where the old MAF sits.
Then I finally got my GTX seat in. Don't worry I have another one for the drivers seat.
It looks funny compared to the Festy seat.
... I was getting impatient when I took the picture of the GTX wheels. Only the front are GTX since they are too wide (with tires) for the rear without spacers.
