I got to ride in Redford today!!!! Fresh, thank you very, very much for all your help today!!! Wish I could of been a little more upbeat, man I just wanted to get back to Iowa. Stress level was a little high today. But, besides that, it was a privilege to meet you! You're a top notch guy!

As far as Freshtiva and Levitan being the same person, did you see that supermodel in the bibs? I'm bigger than 2 generations of Freshtiva's family combined :naka:

Sure was a sweet rig to haul 2 Festivas on, huh?! Special thanks to my buddy Ed for lending a brother a hand! Did get a hole in one of dually tires north of KC. Limped it to a station and plugged it. Got us back to the great white north with no problems. Only cost me $55 in gas and another $150 for food (gets expensive when you have Kujo, the engine moving behemoth as your sideck. He took a buddy of ours that is about 6'5" and flipped him upside down like a ragdoll because he wanted the guy's half of a donut!! True story. Glad he's MY friend and worth every penny spent today!!!)

Next week I plan on getting the blue one on the back of the trailer ready to sell. Going to make a trailer out of the back half of the front blue one. I cannot believe the amount of parts, new kyb struts, lowered springs, Alpine stereo and whatnot that came with the cars. I feel a serious fire sale coming on!(insert subliminal "pm me" message here!) I was going to just make one car and part out the rest, but now that I have 2 '90 parts cars, I don't see a reason why I shouldn't combine them into one good car. 2-'92 runners and 2-90 parts cars, go figure. The '90 parts car I bought up in Minnesota runs great. 4 weeks ago or so, I sold my '90 whatever auto and was jonesing for a Festy. This week I own 4 of them and am an absolute junky!!! Flippin' Crazy!!

Another good thing that happened was my yet-to-be-named main ride got 33.8 mpg over the last week, 50% city 50% hwy. When weather is this cold, it's hard to get any gas mileage, so I think it's pretty good. What kinda mileage did you get today Freshtiva? 42.6mpg? That's my Lotto guess.

I did get some pics of Freshtiva today and different loading and unloading pics of the cars. Fresh, you have a scanner? I'll send you the pics and you can post them....I am pc challenged.
Thought it would be cool to have pics of the rebirth.

Can't thank you enough Frestiva. Hope to see you in April somewhere. Spence, if you read this, thanks for the cars. I will proudly rebuild and organ donor them to other fellow Festiva fans, like myself, throughout the fruited plains(that last part was kinda cheesy, but you get the point).

          Later,

^ It was a pleasure ! Glad you make it back in good shape. I figured out why my phone camera pic quality wasn't so good. I think you are suppose to remove the protective film from the lens before use. :happy6:

Hay Dan, hope you have fun with them. I know I did. Kinda missem.... Get this 3 hours after you guys left I headed down to truman state to meet a lady friend of mine and as im driving I hear a ticking noise from my honda... So I pull over and some how limp it to a gas station parking lot. And sure enough, spun rod bearing... But what's the luck of that. Sell my backup car and my daily driver poops out on me... So in goes the big twin cam turbo I guess lol. But Keep your progress posted. later

Of all the luck Sorry to hear that man. Will keep you up to date on things. Have decided to go a different route. Am going to un-slam your blue '92 and make it my main ride. Think I'll do an Aspire suspension swap with a B6 non-Turbo swap...at least for now  Today is the first time I've seen the cars since I dropped them off the day I got them from you. That '92 is pretty clean. I think it would look sharp with some smoked or black 13-14" 5 spokes. Hey Spence, keep in touch dude. It was great meeting you and I would absolutely love to see your new "little" motor setup!
