Apparently, deer account for over 2 million a year in insurance claims here in NC alone. That doesn't include those who have no comp Ins. People joke that deer dodging is the states number one sport, ahead of even ACC BBALL!!!

I just don't want to hit one in my festy

There's been a couple (or more) members here that have hit deer and trashed there car. I hit one myself a little over two years ago but was fortunate enough to only lose the windshield, fender, hood, and corner light. The car was still drivable. The deer was still alive so I drug it off the road and called the game and fish, who promptly came out and put it to rest.

Down here in Redneck county, Deer hit you. The last 4 people who had accidents with deer at work have had their doors or rear quarter panels hit by deer that ran into them.

They have those jumping deer signs.... That truck must have been really moving to get that much roof damage. Got to love the poop all over the inside of the door. When I hit a deer, he pooped inside my headlight.

Just seen the last picture. ops: That happened in the Southwest part of the state, about halfway between here and Texas. Where our Whitetail breed with Texas' deer. Some scary animals.

Those hybrid deer are high jumpers. Most likely they were doing the high jump over power lines.

Deer are bad here as well. Don't think I have owned a car around here for more than two years that hasn't been involved in an accident with a deer.

I pretty much have to dodge at least one every night on my way home.

That's why I liked my old 91 F250. Slammed a deer with that thing going 60mph, and it didn't even scratch the bumper.
