Im just shooting with a Canon S3 IS w/ a Canon teleconvertor if needed...i think it gives me in the neighbourhood of 600 mm of zoom. The tripod is some cheapy i got for 20 bucks but has turned out to be not to bad!

I got a cheapy off ebay and wow it is great. Folds way up then gos to full size. It also has a pan head. all for like 18 shipped. Circuit City has almost the same one for ~$89!Originally posted by leapin
