  • fun day pics for my girl sand box & swing

My big girl Sophia loves her sand box and her swing. We got them for her for her 2nd birthday (3/11/08). The swing was an A frame for hoisting engines. It was all rusty when Jack Festiva (creator of the festar) gave it to me. I painted it yesterday and threw a couple of walmart swings up. We had a good time!! Being a daddy is so rewarding!!! I know Sophia will be glad when her new Sister Chloe can swing beside her!

Looks like two people were having a ball. One on the swing, and one behind the camera. Geez, you are not that far south of me, but you have alot more green in your yard than I do. Enjoy this time, Carbon, can't believe my oldest two are already about to get their driver's license.

Man she's getting big, i remember when she was a newborn. Congrats on the newer addition to your family. My 4 year old is bugging me for a swing set with a slide and a sand box too. I'll have to break down and get it in may when i get that economy "boost" check in the mail.

That's awesome Paul. Keep enjoying it. It only gets better. It's fun watching them grow. My daughter's 13 now and my dad asked me if it made me sad that she was growing up so fast. It was easy to reply with no. I mean our relationship is so much more now than it was when she was 10 or 5 or 2. Yes, I enjoyed it when she was younger, but I enjoy it more now.

Keep spending time with them, and I know your relationship with your kids will keep growing also. :thumbright:
