Dudley Gets Decals!

Freshtiva was nice enough to send me a set of Festiva L Plus decals, which reflect the true L-Plus-ness of my L-labeled '89 L Plus. In addition Packrat was nice enough to give me a FordFestiva.com decal at the DJ meet in Ozark. I put both on my car today.

You think they would have included a chrome/plastic plus in 89 or at least some ackknowledgement of the of L-plusness somehow. The LXs got their own badge. :scratch: You think it would have helped the dealers as they could have asked more for the plus than the L. I have two 89 L plus with no plus notation.

Near as I can tell, the L-Plus was an afterthought, probably introduced hastily for the '89 model year, and they didn't want to put forth the effort to make a badge, especially knowing that they'd go to decals the following year.
