About an hour after I finished I had to drive 2 and a half hours back to school...

I don't need to tell you how many bugs chose my clean shiny car to die upon...

That looks great, but how do you get the rear wiper to home in the down position?

We have had drought conditions in NC for so long, I have not even washed ANY of my rides since last summer, let alone wax, I am SO jealous....
I live down a dirt road as well, but I would take pics if I could as well!

Isn't that how it's supposed to be?
It was another one of my dad's mods when the car was his. Got it from another festy at the JY, I remember when he brought it home.

Sometimes it sticks, it will stop right where it is when I turn the switch off.
Sometimes it goes to the up and down position...
And sometimes it works the way [I think] it's supposed to and goes back and forth and stops again when it's horizontal.

What size is that cherry bomb, I want to take the muffle off of mine, I have no cat already, but I want that extra edge you know. I just need to know what size the inlet is and how long to buy. It would be easier so I can order one, I don't think the festy has room for a 30inch cherry bomb. I might just put straight pipe in, but let me know.

I had to cut a little off the end, but I'm pretty sure it was a 26", + or - an inch.
                            The inlet is 2"ID.

If you have a local Pepboys, go there. That's were I got mine. They might not be on the shelf, so ask someone. Got mine for $20. Pretty good buy in my opinion.
Plus, I have my catalytic converter still in place, so without one I bet it should be pretty sweet.

Wait a minute! Where in Metry is that pic from! I thought from Sunset to Airline it was all subdivisions! You got it looking nice for lovebug season, or a cruise across the 12 mile.
Maybe Curmudgeon or Shtinky will have to visit on a trip to La Place to visit freinds, and go to the Bonne Carre to see what the old house looks like now.
BTW, if you hollow the cat, use 2 1/4 pipe, and your muffler, it sounds like an old English sports car. I throttle it down a bit at the cat though to keep a little back pressure to save the valves, and help with low end torque. Helps a bunch at higher RPM to open it up though.
