If you put that much money into a Festy, you would probably have over 400HP. Depending on what you buy for the Festy. Nice car, but with they way premium is looking, I don't want anything turbo. Or that doesn't get over 38MPG's

I guess I just am not a fan of anything chrysler.
      *shrugs*
      But it does look good.

I'm truely jealous. I have a stock 2000 neon. I hate it. I can't wait to get rid of it this summer.

          I had a 2000 Neon before this, I called it the Pee-on.

This is a totally different animal...

Did you trade in that other neon you had or did you scrap it? The SRT-4 is a nice car. I think they are good deal for the money spent. It lacks a little in the looks department, but who cares.

I hear they have weak trannies. A guy on the internet spun his wheels for five minutes and then his tranny blew apart. He said they were weak because it couldn't withstand his abuse. I believe everything I read on the internet. So be careful, your tranny could blow apart if you spin your wheels too long.

While 5 mins of wheel spin is excessive, that has always been my opinion of chryslers , weak trannys.

I sold the neon to the guy for $500!

Couldn't believe I got that much for it. My newly ex-girlfriend told me she hadn't changed the oil in a while when I went to pick it up from her apartment. A while being 8 months... and roughly 15,000 miles. Last time I'm going to be nice to one of my ex's so they can save up for a car.

^^^ So the last oil change was before I saw the car? WOW, females are amazing. That was Alisha (sp), right? She didn't seem that oblivious to cars. She was at the autocross, though she and my wife were talking about girl stuff while we talked about cars. You need to get the festiva finished, that way you can race all those people again who you race in your slow car.

that would probably be a pretty good race.

Ok here are a few specs on it.

                        APG wastegate and BOV
                        K&N Typhoon intake and filter
                        MSD ignition
Mopar goodies (ecu flash, injectors etc)
Some huge intercooler(could be Mopar, but not the skinny stock one)
                        3" down pipe
                        Fiber images CF hood
                        Lowered about 2"
MTX amp and 12" subs(but I've never been a sound man, so they might be coming out)

Probably forgetting something. These cars don't come with mufflers so it's loud.
