how did this happen? did a tire blow? are those Slicks or street tires?
perhaps something broke? it just seems odd to see a festy on its roof
without some sort of mechanical failure prompting it. I've done alot of
stupid stuff in my festy and been in some pretty crossed-up situations
but have never even bicycled it much less come close to a full rollover.
my car and yours are pretty much identical as far as suspension setup
is concerned (basically a homebrewed concoction of ghetto engineering
meets redneck stupidity) and I just wonder if maybe there is something
to avoid or atleast beef up a bit more. or perhaps it just hooked to hard
on the inside during a spin. explanation please. glad your OK must have
been quite a ride. - Chris
Nothing says "triumph of enthusiasm over physics" like a Front Wheel Drive race car.

Exactly!
Super sticky R25 compound road racing slicks... crossed up and hooked up.
I took the wide offset wheels off, and used the alloys and drove like a madman.. lol..
I over drove it, should have never had it that crossed up.
The car is/was hooked up better than it ever, and I simply got over zealous.. Everyone watching agreed it looked faster than ever before..
Nothing wrong with the car, I just went into a kink way too hot.
I am not sure it would be possible to flip it on street tires... not enough grip, but the R25 compound Hoosiers....yep...
Here is a quote I got from my Evolution Performance autox school instructor, Robert Carpenter..... this guy is a National Champion in a front wheel drive car... I loved reading this:
"
Andrew,
I hate to see that this happened, because it was the best Festiva I have ever driven and was looking forward to having the challange school in it."
