  • mountains, clouds, snow, elk, sunset...what a drive!

Got off work at 4:30 p.m. and headed to the mountains for a little drive.

Spooked up a herd of elk.

On the edge of the clouds

    hmmm...can't go any further

Turned back to take the highway and went up to the pass. Nearly 10,000 feet!

On the way back down the sun peaked through a little.

And another beautiful sunset to finish it all off.

Overall it was an enjoyable drive and the perfect finish to a Monday.

Yeah I've been to Wyoming. Loved every minute of it. Passed through alot of towns with a population of 10. Yellowstone was wonderful. Like to visit again, but wouldn't want to live there. Winters are cold enough in Ohio, not to mention I think I'd prolly could only find a Wal-mart and McDonald's in Cheyenne, but land sure is cheap. Those pics are beautiful!!!

Yep, it was a great day. What makes it the nicest though, is that my daughter enjoys all that also and is excited to go drive to the mountains with her Dad. .

that pic of the sun set and the road is very good.
That was one of my favorites. The picture doesn't really do it justice though. In person it was much more grand.

Man I must of took 30 pictures on that little trip. Glad I'm digital now.
