  • What could have been my first car.............

Here's my parent's old Festiva, which would have been my first car. But it got hit by a deer and they were going to give it to my older brother for his first car, but he hated that car and thought it was lame So they ended up selling it for $400:crybaby: That was like 6 or 7 years ago, but If my brother would have drove it then I would have most likely got it:crybaby:

Thats the only picture of it I could find.

    Look on the bright side!

From another post I see that you got a mustang as a first car. That's a great first car!

My first car was a Pinto station wagon! LOL With an AM radio and NO A/C (I grew up in a desert. Very HOT!!!) The only saving grace for that car was that it was a 5 spd and had mags on it. Oh, and it was light enough to push and pop the clutch to start!

Despite my horror, it could have been even worse. My friend was stuck with an orange and white (where there was still paint to speak of) AMC Gremlin. U-G-L-Y car, but I understand there is a cult following around today. I guess it's all about personal taste.

Not many people liked my Festiva when I bought it new in 89. They said it was ugly and my brother in law said it looked like it should have a soda pop tab on top! LOL

I know, but he hated that car, and still doesn't get why I want to get one. But If he would have taken it, I would probably be driving it now

Wow, damage to the passenger side front... weird. Its usually the drivers side. That would have been a nice ride. Look on the bright side, since your brother thought it was lame he probably would have abused it. Hopefully that sweet blue GL found a good home. Which part of Missouri do you live in ?

I know what you're saying; my room mate doesn't really like my Festy, he calls it "the death car" because it's so small according to his standards. He constantly bugs me about getting rid of it and buying a new car, and was happy to see my swap fail (because of a knocking BP engine) thinking I was gonna throw it away, but now he's just peed off that I bought a new BP to put it back on the road hehehe!!!
The left lane? Are you crazy!!! I never drive in the left lane...It's full of freaks driving the wrong way and charging right at you!!!
