  • My boy's new quad...

My boy and I have gotten back into riding quads again, I got him a 2006 KFX400 from a friend of mine, and he fixed it up a bit and has been learning to ride it. He is just now 13 and it's his first manual shift ATV, he has grown up on Polaris and other Autos... so, he has to learn the clutch..

He has picked it up quick, here is a shot of him learning to jump it, this is the second time he ever rode the quad:

Here is the sticker kit he put on it..

looks like a lot of fun!!! i used to have a couple dirt bikes, but now i have no where to ride so i sold them a couple years back

            1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
            1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

my friend had a kfx 400 and it was awsome, lots of power and fun as heck to ride. just a heads up but keep an eye out for those rear axle bolts loosening, he was in a race, went around a corner and his axle slid out of the swin arm... also watch out for the front of the frame, after a long time of jumping he eventually cracked the front part of the frame, where the shocks mount...
