Hello All,
I'd like to introduce my Festy to the group. I picked up this '91 gem off of ebay a month ago that was owned by a retired couple who only put 74K miles on it. It's a GL automatic with power steering, A/C, and aftermarket 13" wheels. I found some vintage (80s) Ford Escort SS striping on ebay and slapped it on. I upgraded the sound system by installing an Alpine deck and Pioneer 4" speakers all around (my next move is a 6" Bazooka tube for low-end). I LOVE this car. My wife received one of these cars for her 16th birthday (1988 carb). We drove the heck out of this car through college. It was the best vehicle we had ever owned. Now that we have one again, I wouldn't trade it for anything (not even for the 2003 Nissan 350Z I use to own, (maybe a 2009 Nissan GTR Through the hills and bluffs of Vicksburg MS, I get 30MPG city. I'd like to express my thanks and appreciation to all of the members of the group for making this such an awesome website. I'm certain the vast amount of knowledge contained here will help me to keep the Festiva SS rolling for many years to come.
