    Spending time with BIG Daddy Don Garlits. Video added

    This is some of the fun I had this past weekend..LOL

    I had Don Garlits invited to Decatur, for our Decatur Celebration .
    It is a annual event that attracts approx 300,000 t0 350,000 people over Friday evening thru Sunday evening .

    Got to hang out with him and his wife Pat , I got lots of goodies and I gave him stuff to take home .

    I have videos also and will post them of the Swamp Rat VIII running .

      Talked to Big Daddy a couple times along with Bill Golden with the " Little Red Wagon " wheelstander.

      I still have my 66 A100 Dodge pickup

        Cool Doug!! Looks like you had a fun weekend. I used to pass his Museum every weekend when I was going to see my ex girlfriend that went to the University of Florida, when I was living in Clearwater.

              When I was a teenager I was part of a group who had the ominous task of guarding Big Daddy's car at an air show at NAS Jacksonville. Never did see him ...but nobody laid a hand on that car.
              That was way back before he had his museum.
