got a question about this motor
i am looking in to getting a hold of 2 festiva's in a little trade i hope. but i was wanting to know. one of them is a 88 and the other is a 89 here is a pic of the 88's motor. is it carb or fuel injected? thanks, rusty

would the headers and full exhaust work the same as the fuel injected one's? i have never did stuff like this.Comment

88-89 carbed, 90-93 fuel injected.money pit

I believe 88 - 89 LXs 5 speeds. For sure 88 LXs were/are.Search Master - Honorary Member of Midwest Festiva Inc., Gulf Coast Chapter

well there's your problem... that motor doesn't have big enough wires going to it. In fact, it's got a fuel line, so it must be an engine, not a motor!
