hmmmmm....i dunno i'll have to think about it. and it's going to have to wait till the next time i get up to the car...

so only the A/C button is needed? not the entire 'control panel'? i don't remember what a non-A/C panel looks like. it's been a loooonng time since then.

Bigwheel, someone already has their eyes on my clear turn signals, but I've still got the original orange signals and the corner lights.
The guts on my wiper arm are pretty good but the arm itself is very rusted. If there's no rust I'm still interested in the wiper arm and also the orange signals/corner lights. Sending you a PM.

You could just take some fine sandpaper and sand the arms down then paint them with a flat black.

You're right but I was trying to save a step. I've been doing a lot of little things to the Festy so that was just one less thing to do.

I'm missing the bolt that holds the spare tire down and the t-bolt that holds the jack in place. If you have them, I'd like to buy them.

I was wondering if anyone would want those...
I took them off, they're in a box of screws and bolts up at my mom's.
I'll get them next time I go up there.

Hey Joe, odd request I know but if you still have the fuel filter bracket I'd love to get that from you. I'm about to pull my hair out because the moron that had this car before me was such a freakin idiot. I'm finding more and more instances where the fruit cake made it up as he went with repairs. I was working on the car tonight doing a complete tune up. I was getting ready to replace the fuel filter when I realized something didn't look right. Low and behold I see the fuel filter, with the hose on both ends cut, lying in the bottom of the engine bay. In addition the bracket is still attached but is bent and wrapped around the filter (go figure how that happened). Looking at the fuel line it appears that the dip stick put a misfit filter on, left the old one lying there and went about his business. One of the four or five reasons I've found that I'm only getting 29 mpg on a 4 speed manual. I can't freakin stand it when people won't do the dang job right the first time.

Okay...I'm cool now. Sorry for the venting but this kind of stuff ticks me off. If you're gonna do the job do it right the first time. I'm through now. May I have the fuel filter bracket please? :0)
