  • New steering wheel

    Finally got around to cleaning the ghost since it's up and running now. Also installed the new steering wheel and half clear taillights I got....

      It's got some rough spots in the paint, not to mention the rust that still needs to be repaired. I'm wanting to eventually attempt the $50 paint job to make it look like my road bike...

            Unfortunately I don't think it's a true Bride wheel, just an ebay knockoff. It'll work for now though...much smaller than the stock wheel.

              Another small update...Since the molding was flopping off I decided to yank it all the way off. I was going to get an eraser wheel and try to get the glue off with that, but it was 42 bucks at napa. I decided to just scrape it off with a razor blade and sand the rest down. Then I painted the bottom half of the car with rustoleum gloss white. It's far from perfect but looks better than having the side molding flopping in the wind. Just a temp. solution anyway....

                My father and I found a set of those taillights a few months ago in a junkyard, we thought they were stock half white/half red, so we bought them, dont remember how much anymore, but then we put them on our aqua car that has no tranny in it right now, but those taillights do look a lot better!!!
