  • Haulin' Junk

Best thing I ever did was yank the backseat out of my car.

2x6s (seat folded flat, studs tucked down into the passenger footwell - back hatch closes fine):

    flat files + 2-wheeler:

a full load of construction debris for the dump:

cool stuff, but from what i can see all that stuff would have still fit in with the seat still in there. (you do know it folded flat, right?)

Did similar like you did with the 2x6s except with steel

Yep, eight foot long 2X4s are a snap to fit inside.

Longer ones can be stuck out the right rear window!

well, my initial reason for pulling the backseat is that it was a nasty, torn up, and stained piece of junk. So I never actually tried folding it flat. Removing it was literally the first thing I did when I got er. Putting seat covers on the fronts was the second.

the biggest thing i ever fit in my festiva was a 1976 Yamaha 100cc Dirt bike, i had the front passenger seat and rear seats removed, it went from the hatch to the dash but the hatch closed

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

It's a good thing these little cars don't have good brakes. One panic stop and you have a new hat.

                  Caety. That's a cute name.

oh i have good brakes, if you notice the front wheels (14") are filled with rotor, it's a capri XR2 swap. vented 10.2" rotors. LOTS of stoping power.
