jim i was refering to the 5 pseed and 4 speeds, but you really think the autos are that good? i know ivan was it? running one in his aspire, are there any larger axles you can use with the auto? what about a mid shaft to help with torque steer?

Nice job on the tow bar . A lot slicker than the gargantuan rental bar I used. Darn thing took two hernia free men to lift it. We were both old pharts tho.

I didn't get any comments while getting gas (might be because I scare the crap out of most people---they don't realize I'm a gentle giant) but I got lots of looks and laughs as people passed me by.
When I first started the return trip, I was only going about 45mph in the rain, fog and darkness. I got a motel outside of Madison WI....something I didn't plan on doing. I awoke to more rain and kept pretty steady at just under 55mph. By the time I got to Iowa and got on new smooth highways, I could go 65mph in 5th gear, only having to downshift to 4th when going up hills, never dropping below 45mph.
