My Grandpa and I took it for it's 1st test drive today! Ran good except for one thing.... No Brakes! We turned around asap, Then drove it back to the driveway and I found 2 leaks in the brakeline for the front 1 on each side.

Same happened to me. Inside of the bend right before the flex line fitting. Fixed this one only to have a blowout in one of the lines to the rear. Replacing all of the lines.

Even though my first rupture was only at one wheel, the "cross-plumbed" brake system didn't work. The right front - left rear and left front - right rear are supposed to be separate systems.

Man, is that ironic, I just finished looking athe the first set of pics, went back to page and the new update was there! What are the odds? Looking good! Were the floors rusted too? In North Carolina they don't rust.

Its nice to see people starting. Specially after reading about longtime member "getting out"

(I might just be grumpy cuz mine is broken again. )

                              More work to do

Found out today that all of the brakelines are shot and need to be replaced I kinda figured that would be the case, since the car had sat for 4 years before I bought it and rescued it from a slow death
