I got my 1988 Festiva!!! Here are the pics!!!

Here it is... 220K... I'm the second owner as of last weekend... F#$%@* something up on the way home so I have to get it running again. Let me know what you think.

looks bad@ss, what kind of bodykit is on it? rims? Really love it! maybe do a little buffing on it and see what it looks like.

The guy I bought it from said it came stock with the wheels and kit when he bought it in '88. The car was a demo at the ford dealer. I have no idea who the side skirts are made buy but the wheels are by modern. The original owner told me he paid 11K for the car and I picked it up for $350. I drove it about 20 miles and it overheated. I didn't feel like wrenching on the side of the road so I towed it home with my buddy's truck. It's sitting in my driveway waiting to be tackled. As soon as I get it running again, I'm going to buff it out and clean it all up. It's awesome!

Thats odd, never heard of a kit for the demo cars. sounds like a steal, I would have paid alot more than that for it!

I'm pretty happy with it... a little disappointed that it quit running though. I was hoping to drive it at least another 30K before having to do any real work on it.

is your rad fan coming on? might wanna start there then check the thermostat and make sure it's opening. it's probally nothing major. nice find as well

Looks pretty sweet. If you need parts there is a festiva in the lynwood pull-a-part that has an engine bay you could almost eat out of. They had 4 festys up untill two weeks ago, now only two left.
