Yeah, the rest of the wheels need painting, right now it has one factory alloy, two regular steelies and a black steely. I think its getting the old 14s from my silver car though, but they may end up getting painted black and having just a "trim ring" of aluminum around the edge left unpainted.

Oh and Mel will probably be wearing jeans and a classy black sweater for the pics with this car, though she has a really nice long white skirt that I'll try to talk her into wearing, but its pretty cold out this week so we'll see :-P

white looks good with the black trim. You should paint the other wheels black to that looks great.

Kev, please don't kill me! I promise you you did find the last good looking festiva in GA, this one came from NC (plus its an auto) so don't kill me, just get a festiva and bring it up here often so I'll have something to tinker with this winter. I'm closer to ya'll now, right at the end of 400

You swapping stuff into this one? Let me know if you ever want to go run the mountains. I finally got the suspension on the Integra dialed in the way I like it!

I'm swapping in the kybs and fairly new springs from the silver car, and the custom tach cluster if I can't find a buyer for it. Other than that probably nothing but aspire brakes so I can use my escorts 14s I fell in love with (that still have almost new rubber on them).

I don't need the festie for a mountain run, I'm ready now The daihatsu can't pull up hills well, but on the way back down its short wheelbase and overly wide tires will give your teg a run for its money If I can ever get my hands on a new and/or upgraded suspension for that thing I will autoX it everyday. Even with 160K on the 20 year old suspension it will outhandle even a stock miata in the mountains any day.

your new white car looks great!

Joe- you seem to find the nicest cars! Work is coming along on the golf cart festiva- finally got the engine running after the swap. I just made a trailer hitch (I'll post pictures in the repair/custom forum when I get a chance)

I doubt it, but bring me one and we'll see . If I beefed up the suspension and the S2000 was stock, I would even dare to say it could outhandle it... though I make no claims of outrunning it, those would be two different things... I doubt I could outrun a stock 1 liter metro :-P

Eh, the s2000 needs new tires bad lol. You still have the 1.8? Why not swap?

in good time, when money allows... first I gotta get some aspire brakes on it, then the rest of the winter will be spent on my new project I'm picking up today, but maybe summer will have more in store for the festiva
