  • Old Red update thread #4

I got alot of things done today on Old Red.
First I cleaned up my power mirrors that I got yesterday

Then installed them (don't know if they work yet, because I need to get a power mirror switch)

Then I installed my new Rust free hatch w/defrost and wiper

Put the switches in the dash

Ran the wires and plugged them in, installed the windshield wiper fluid bottle. When all that was done I flipped the switch, and it worked

The lock on that hatch works with my key, so there's no need to change it.

So are you converting over to the orange VS the white lettering ? Hows the glass on those mirrors ? The old orange instr. clusters with the gray back stripes are cool IMO.

PS Have you sent in your Midwest Festiva Inc. Dues yet ?

Thinking about it... Actually I eventually want to swap the interior out with 88-89 style parts, with LX seats since I have a decent drivers seat and I'm going to try to clean up the split rear I got. The glass on the drivers mirror is good, but the pass side is cracked and missing some glass.
