  • Topped off a full festiva week A U Pick it.

I topped off a full festiva week starting with the auction last sunday by going to U-Pick-It today. It was cold and windy. I almost didnt get in because it cost $2 to get in and all I had was one one dollar bill and twenties and they wont take twenties and wouldnt let me in for a dollar. I asked them if I could just give them a twenty to get in and get store credit for $18. No way, "go get some change and come back". Well what if I just give you twenty to get in ? "No, just go get change." Fortunately the guy behind me says "here" and handed me a dollar bill. He said "Ive been in the same situation and they dont have the capacity to reason so just take the dollar." Thank you sir I said Ill get you on the way out. He says "dont worry about it". U-Pick-It jerks !!! No wonder I go to Pick N Pull. Anyway found three festivas. All three EFI five speeds. One was inside and it was too dark to get a shot on my camera phone. The white one had alloys but no center caps. It also had Brown LX seats including a nice rear split seat. The silver one was a L Plus and had real nice seats. I was going to grab them but they wanted $25 a piece. Someone should get them. It also had 13" wheels( they wanted $12 each) and factory air. The blue one inside was a L but had rear wiper, they all had rear window defrost. You could see some FFC influences on the blue one inside.

Got the tach for $14.99 and the nice L plus door panels w/map pockets for $10.99 each. The rest was free. So I spent about $40 not counting the $1 it cost me to get in.

Free stuff including four center caps not shown.

The cooling fan switch would cost you about $40 to buy new also grabbed the coolant temp sender unit for the white car I pick up yesterday so I can un hardwire the fan. I should have got more but it was cold and windy and too dark inside. I was going to get the rear wiper set up off the blue car inside but it was too dark to see.

Wes its at 435 and Winner Rd just north from Pick N Pull

hey fresh, on the temp sensor, is it the same size as a 1/8" pipe plug? apparently some were small and some were big. i've got the small one and was just wondering what the big one looked like.

Id say its 1/2 on the temp sensor, and the fan switch looks like maybe a 1/4-3/8 inch. I get get very specific if you need exact measurements.
