  • Ghost picture

I was looking through some old pictures today and found this picture. I took this picture because Id been hired to duplicate the gable pediment ( thats the criss crossed ornamination in the peak of the gable)that had fallen off of the gable on the other side of the house and was destroyed. I took the picture so Id remember how it looked. I had just replaced all the windows in this house including the one in this picture. I got home and printed the picture out and discovered there were the figures of two young girls standing in the window, or so it appears. I swear this picture has not been altered. These were brand new double hung, double pane, low E glass window with no tint and w/o screens in them. The house in this picture is well over a hundred years old and when I took the picture nothing abnormal caught my eye. I dont believe or disbelieve in ghosts and Im not promoting anything but I just thought it would be fun to share. I showed the owners this picture and they were as awestuck as I was. I researched the history of the house at the time and it has an interesting history including two young female residents. Spooky eh ? Its not real impressive at this size but Ive enlarged it and the detail come out with larger sizes. Ive taken picture from the same spot under the same conditions and have yet to duplicate the images.

Looks like a set of '91 GL seats!

A bit of windex might help...kinda looks like the back cover of "Abbey Road".

Looks like the top half of a giant skull peeking out the window saying, "Is he gone yet?"
Which explains why you can't get the same picture. With your headbutting, anger management issues, you scare him to death...ummm...life! He hears the purr of that 1.3 and puts his back against the wall and says,

Looks like some random polarization effects caused by the 2 panes of low-E glass.

And I believe in the supercharged...

Those girls in the window are undoubtedly Margo's daughters, who were visiting from Venice Beach and were then going to enter a corn shucking contest.

But all this gave me an idea:

I'll have to look at the Smart car emblem and make one for a Festiva that says:

                              SMARTER

                              '91L "AquaMutt" my '91L; B6 swap/5 speed & Aspire brakes, DD/work car
'92L "Twinstiva" 5sp, salvage titled, waiting for repairs...
                              '93GL "Luxstiva," '94 B6 engine & ATX; needs overhauled
'89L "Muttstiva," now a storage bin, future trailer project
