I can't imagine how you are doing that unless it's actually hitting curbs. I really REALLY used to abuse my first 2 festivas. I cleared 3 sets of train tracks at 55 mph. Literally I jumped 3 car lengths. It didn't do any thing. Maybe if you are heating up the brakes brutally for extended periods of time and then constantly pushing in the curves but man?!?! I too am surprised you haven't died. How many wrecks have you had?

I think it is from excessive braking down hills around corners transfering heat from the hub/rotor to the wheel. Then the abuse from him turning results in cracked wheels.

Sad sight to see when the whole center breaks away from the outside..

I'd only run 2 per wheel! That way when another wheel cracks you only need to remove half as many!!

Chris, you really are going to make your family sad when you crash and die. Or somebody else's family sad when you kill them. You need to do this at a track.

You know... It doesn't seem like he cares what any of us think. We've posted how dumb this is, numerous times... And yet he comes back with his videos, or his tire pictures, etc...

This reminds me of a topic that came about... less than a year ago. Where a teenager took his BMW 5M series (I'm unsure if it was actually his... or his dads) to an airport runway and crashed... Instantly killing him and 4 of his best friends...

He was posting on a BMW forum about how to make the car faster... And about a clinking noise at 140 while shifting gears... And the responses were similar to what I see here.

I just hope that this doesn't turn out the same for Chris here...

I give him credit . . . its something that he loves, no different than Drag racing or skydiving it has a risk involved and hes willing to accept that. I would recomend a wheel upgrade though.

I give him NO credit, because he's doing on open public roads. It would be completely different if he were doing this on a closed course, where he could only hurt himself, or other racers who knew, understood and accepted the risk.

agreed....plus he lets his friends get in the car with him while he is trying to kill himself....must not like the people he calls friend. I wonder how much longer he will be able to do that? Hopefully he is the only one hurt when it finally does happen....because you know it will eventually!
