Thanks! Can't wait to get everything painted, then put it all together again. But I can't paint right now due to the weather.......wish it would warm up soon

When it's done it should be one nice looking Festiva! It'll have:
-Black painted bumpers with Red pinstripe (already have the back one done)
-LX side moldings painted black w/red pinstripe
-Spoiler http://www.fordfestiva.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=18737 going to be black
-Stock steel wheels painted black w/trim rings
-Not sure what interior I'll be using..........whatever I can find thats in good shape and matches

If you use some WD-40 it will help the removal of the tar.

Yeah, 3 of the hard lines were blown when I got the car, I already replaced the 2 on the front, just need to do the back now.

Yeah, had a front hard line go once!
That is one heck of a feeling when cruising down the highway at 65/70 mph hit the brakes and bam, all the way to the floor!:pale:
Much better if a rear hard line goes, you still have most of your breaking force available.
THough your stopping distance is much longer!

                            More work

Got the tar off the fenders and reinstalled them, the paints chipped from rocks...o'well

Found the cargo light I took off the LX parts car I thought I had left it behind, but my grandpa had it in his toolbox since he helped get some parts off it that day... I thought I left it behind because It wasn't with my box of goodies I brought back.

Anyway I installed it and it works great
