  • Some pics of my '92 "Boss" Festiva

Here are some pics of my "Boss" Festiva. I'm a fan of the '69-'70 Boss Mustang and since I don't have one of those... well you get the picture! besides, my little Festy was just too blue! The stripes and tinted windows tone it down a bit, not to mention all the cool compliments I get around town! I actually had a kid in a Taco Bell drive-thru ask me if my Festy was a special edition or something! 8) I have allot of fun with this car, and with gas prices on the rise...my little "Boss" increases in value! LOL!

Note the cool hood scoop!

I made my Festiva into a "Cobra" version! When I was 17 I had a Boss 302 mustang! (should have kept it)

I had thought of doing that in yellow instead of blue. Nice.

Take it back to the back porch, join the 3 string revolution.

I bought mine at Pep Boys auto parts. It should be a National chain. It was $20 and it is a 5-panel. They do make a 4-panel, but the 5-panel goes from end to end of the windshield and I think looks better. You can see everything with these mirrors! Even cars driving up next to you. Not sure of the brand name...I think it was a "Wink" or something.

If you can't find one in, try JC Whitney.com, they might, hell they have everything else!

            Good luck!

Is that hood scoop functional or just a decoration?

It's mostly for looks, but I did drill about a 1.5" hole in the hood for some additional engine cooling, especially in the summer here.

A friend of mine here has a green 71 Challenger and he is doing up his '88 Festiva to look like it. he has already painted it that Granny Smith apple green color (Sassy Grass Green) and is in the process of putting the flat black accent stripes on the side (like a Cuda). He will also be dropping in a Chevy 350 sometime down the road. Can't wait to see that one! :salute:

                  Nice Boss, Boss!

Around Whitehall (a Cols. suburb) a few years back, there was a bright yellow "SuperBee" Festiva with black lettering running around.

A Super-bee? That would be cool to see. It's kinda fun dressing these little babies up as big mean 70's era muscle cars. It would be a cool theme for some Festiva club to have!! I would join! My "Boss-tiva" and my friends "Fest-allenger" would be some nice editions. You could do up a "Fest-aro" for a camaro...a "fest-elle" for a chevelle... the list can go on.

I need to make a license plate frame saying..."When I grow up I want to be like my Dad"
