i did a similar swap for my bros car it was rubbing the tire. it had been worked on by the previous owner and he took out the inner fenders and didnt clip the harness into that bracket in the fenderwell. anyway i went to the junk yard pulled a harness and went home put it in without pulling the dash and it only took most of the day. its a miracle cause it doesnt look like the gauge cluster connectors will fit through where they have to but they did. Good to see you arent going to use that hack job setup crimp ons oh baby. good stuff..

I started from the inside and stuffed the engine wireing through the hole. I figured there wasnt any way the interior fuse block would fit through the firewall if I started from the engine bay and tried to stuff the interior stuff through. Maybe thats why it took me so long. Yeah, that splice job is unreal, there is 1/2 inch of bear copper showing on either side of the connector.

I recently replaced the wiring harness in my 93 because I melted the original harness trying to wire up a 89 headlight/wiper combination switch (and I have several years of electrical engineering experience and the factory wiring schematic - which has one very important wire mislabeled). It took me two days total to remove the donor harness, clean it, and reinstall the harness. I also removed the dash and decided to wire up my alarm system and add power windows while everything was exposed. Freshitiva, at least you were cleaning up someones mistake. That has to be more rewarding than fixing your own big mistake. Glad to see that several other folks have replaced complete harnesses. Now I know that I am not the only one

i believe i stuffed everything from the inside out as well i had a second set of hands tho
but i didnt get the whole fuse block i just unplugged everything from it.. i cant remember exactly.. all in all it was easier than i thought it was going to be.
