  • Pics from NYC/ Maine trip

I just got back from an ice fishing trip to Maine with my Dad and brother. Damned cold but what a blast. We stopped on the way and spent the day in New York City. I just thought Id share some pics. I was like a big doofus just walking around taking pictures there. What an amazing city!
Going in a tunnel to Jersey I believe.

Got on the Subway in Hoboken. Definately a unique location for the Fire Station.

First thing I seen when I got off the Subway.

Of course we had to go to the Empire State Building. So heres a view of Macys from above.

    Thought this was rather interesting.

Im not going to bore you with a bunch of pics, but I managed to get this one on our way out of New York.

I didnt think it came out too bad for being shot through a window at about 45 mph.
    Maine was amazingly beautiful.

And yes we were crazy enough to go out and try our hand at Ice Fishing. Disappointingly without much success. But we had fun anyways.

On the way back we stopped in Massachusetts to see the Atlantic Ocean.

This fool was actually going surfing.

Near Harrisburg,PA we ran into a thankfully brief snow storm.

I wish we would have been going through that area during the day, some truly amazing scenery.

The 1st day we went out it was 36*. Not bad, actually very tolerable. The 2nd day it wasvery windy and 20*, I dont even want to venture a guess what the windchill was. But it was bone numbing to say the least. We had a great time and it was especially nice to spend time with my Dad and brother.
