lol... I joined operating engineers union 955 2yrs ago. started this job in dec. and have got 2 raises and promoted to a fulltime operator at this point. pretty fun the best job I've ever had. and the pay isn't that bad either. got some more I'll toss up tomm. pretty much there coreing for oil samples in the oil sands. and we have the contract to built ice roads. which is bulldozing trails through the bush then clearing them up and dragging tires over them to pound the frost in. we need about 14" of frost for the drilling rigs to drive on them.
