  • Sport with no sport options???

So I went for a tour of the local junk yards today to see what was out there for festys...

Well I came across 2 festivas with sport badges on them but absolutely no sport options, no wipers, spoilers, interior, nothing... just sport decals...

Are there any other things I may have missed that would have made these a sport?

And here are 2 more that I found while out touring...

90 festiva BP/G25MR swap, spec v seats, aspire brakes, FMS springs, round headlight conversion with HID's, custom exhaust, fiberglass hood, and a whole lotta bodywork

I love the bumper sticker on the red one. That is classic. I don't suppose any of them have the center console shelf?

The sport decal looks like an aftermarket item. The factory sports had the spoiler, the red striped interior and alloy wheels, either silver or white. They only came in black white or red. Sports also have the black painted window frames and "B" pillar.

They did have passenger mirrors on them still, but no consoles, or A/C.

That red one is damaged on the front divers side.

I would have to agree that the decals were probably gimmicks then. Did any of them have the holes where spoilers were mounted at one time, and maybe removed previously?

There were alot of dealers that put "Sport" stickers on the cars just to dress them up. But like Ian said they all had spoilers. alloys and a special interior. And the Sport was a 92-93 GL model with the upgrade.

You should've snatched those center caps. I need just one. The big thing is I don't like seeing such a sad amount of festys just layin around dead.
