Yeah, it was getting dark when I finished up installing it and I haven't had a chance to get back outside to look it over again....perhaps today? Weather is clearing. Why not?

I'll check and see about that contact!

I don't think it lines up with the festiva contact thingy (whatever its called). I tried one from a first gen at the yard once and a miata and the 626 one that I used to have on my car, and none of those line up. Looks good though Can't wait to meet baron in person in a couple of weeks
                      No festiva for me ATM...

I have had that same wheel from the original posted,on my car, the 626 wheel and I have the rx7 wheel that looks like a grant steering wheel on my car now....the horn worked without issue on all of them. Have to make sure the contacts are clean

Well, htchbk is correct as pertains to the contact plunger not meeting the ground collar (my terms)...however, MacGyver was never beaten because he always carried a swiss army knife and a ball point pen! Ok, just the knife, but that wouldn't have helped him with the horn. The ball point pen, however, was the key in my case. The horn plunger has a spring on it that allows for some travel in and out....it got me thinking about the spring in a 'click' ball point pen. I went inside and pulled apart an old pen and it's slightly smaller in diameter. So I took ye olde needlenose pliers and spread the spring apart so it would fit over the top of the horn plunger...put it all back together and voila'....instant horn! Now, all I have to worry about is paying the throat doctor....

BTW...there is a small 'scrapey' noise as the spring runs over the horn collar...I'm gonna try and fix that sometime, but not now.

Looks good, I'm going back out to LKQ tomorrow since the 50% off sale is still on. I think there were two of the 2nd gen RXs out there.
