        yep very very cool. I'd love to have one... after I posted that I went snooping around for more info on it... didn't learn much but I did see a couple articles about a possible similar 2010 mustang concept... pretty sure it never happened or will happen but it looked sweet anyway

        Other cars on my list, a Chevy Nomad (don't care what year), a '72 olds custom cruiser , a couple more festivas of course, a geo storm wagon-back, and several strange motor swapped vehicles that I haven't come up with yet lol
        No festiva for me ATM...

          Hey, I'm an MG guy too.

          Here are a couple pictures of our Midget.

          I would like to have an MGA and/or an MG T-series.

          The problem with getting either one of these, is that they are either fully restored and they want a fortune for them. Or they are so far gone that they would take an incredible amount of work, time, and money to restore them. I'd like something in the middle.

                I have a little info on them for you! (teehee!!) The Shelby deal is a privately built vehicle, never sanctioned by Ford or Shelby. It was an attempt to replicate a prototype commisioned by Ford in 1966. A private coach builder was commisioned to develop a wagon variant of the Mustang, to be seriously considered for production. The original story ("Billy Builds a Mustang") was published in the October 1966 issue of Car and Driver (I'll scan my copy later this week). After reviewing the prototype, Ford built several mock-ups, early in 1967, around the coming 1969 body. It was going to be called the Mustang Aspen, and be promoted heavily to the sporting crowds. Basically, this would have been the first real 'sport wagon'. The original proto and design studies had a fold down tailgate with retractable glass, and wood and chrome strips on the cargo floor. The taillights were divorced between the outside and center segment, the outside being body mounted and the center and inboard segments mounted to the tailgate.

                here's a copy of the C&D issue on BackIssue.com;

                                I'm not much of a Beemer fan, but I do really like those, too. My other choices would be an '88 M3, an '81 M1, and a late 60's 2002.
