  • Finally got my baby back from Maaco!! (with new pics)

Last night I went to pick up my freshly painted Festy and I really love the color and paint job. They went above and beyond because they even vacuumed and Armor All'd the interior. I hope I'm the first one with a sublime metallic Festy in the country. I can't wait to drive around town!! I'll take much better pics this weekend or later on today.

The first picture is the before and then the after:

You should have removed all the molding, or put on the piece you're missing on the passenger side. Looks cool otherwise

        neat color!

but, someone got a TON of over spray on your rad, lol. Did you take it to them taped up, or did they remove the lights/mask off the molding? Because most of that looks pretty good for maaco!

            Better pics of car

Sorry to hog up the forum but I couldn't figure out how to edit my original pics. I took some better pics in the sunlight. About the missing molding, he said when I find a replacement, just bring it in and they'll shoot it. They were super nice and professional.

Yeah, theres a lot of overspray on condenser and drier but I'm not too worried about it.

When I first turned it on, I thought I hated the color, but now that I keep looking, it starting to kinda grow on me!

not bad.. did they remove any exterior trim and/or windows?

now you need a dark tint job :headbang:

No, I don't think so, and there's a spot on the rear bumper that was pretty scuffed up and rough, that they just painted over, but I'm extremely happy, it looks a lot newer than I expected. Yeah, I might just try the home tinting job, it'd be a nice skill to learn.
