  • Camo paint job

    I put out a few feelers to friends for interesting camo paint schemes. Here's a sharp one on... a Peugeot (I think)

        2 part ordnance paint

        I wish I had taken a picture of my 81 Malibu when it was freshly painted. I had painted the hubcaps, bumpers, and grille, flat tan as an experiment to see if it would absorb the Raytheon detectors on the 407 toll highway.

        It is only a ghost of its former beauty. The paint flaked off the chrome, even with sanding.

        V-8, true dual exhaust, 4 speed manual on the floor. Desert Storm Edition.

            i like the amarican camo over the canadian camo... i think the canaidan camo looks mike a bunch of pixles... but that car looks cool like that, but would look better in the rear camo colors

              how about camo done with real leaves?

              This is my 1942 M38A1- I used local leaves and just spray painted over each one 4 different colors on a flat black background.

                    i don't know about the paint job on the Peugeot, but like the looks of the car!

                    -"Hairlipstiva" 1991 GL 5spd (swapped from an auto), rolling on Enkei 14x6 +38 with 195/45/14 Toyo's, Jensen MP5720 CD deck, tach install, LED strip in cluster, down position rear wiper, FMS springs, Gabriel shocks on 4 corners, Acura Integra short shifter
                    -Escort GT 91 donor car with BP, G5M-R tranny to be dropped in the little guy...

                          i did snow camo, green brown black camo, and desert storm-style tan with rivets on my last 'stiva. i liked the snow camo the best. i say go for it.
