You need a mini bolt cutter to cut the old hog rings off,
A washing machine to clean the the dirt out of the fabric,
a pair of hog ring pliers and some cheap hog rings
Did I forget to mention laundry detergent and a dryer?
The seats sat in a barn for what looks like years. I have hog rings from the VW I was working on. Small tears and burns, lots of rust stains on one from the other sitting on it. I may try to make my own covers. I have a killer book thats lays the basic idea out for me. But I have to destroy the old covers to make templates. The rear split seat looks great, and all the hardware is good. I'm gonna try to wash em (not in a machine worried those old seams would explode).
Keep smiling every time I look at the pic. I love a goodies.
when freshtiva does anything it looks almost new
