  • Yay for new tires!

The tires are the same size that I was running on the Pimptiva when it had air suspension. They're 175/50 in 13's. The wheels I got for free from a raffle at the Cabela's meet over the winter and they'll work just fine! Not only do they look alright, but they're pretty light too!

I've got to re-pad the harness bar and get them all setup to the right lengths... But it's ready for Ohiostiva.

Is that a big crease in the hood? You try driving the jeep on it?

Yup, they are Sumitomo's HTR 200... A whopping price of $51 a piece. Hopefully they'll last me a bit longer from when I ran them on the Pimptiva with air. :-P

noname - Yup... Backed my Jeep right up into the hood. It was actually on my dads Festiva when that happened. So, I swapped off the hood from my uncles parts car for him. After I sold my fiberglass hood, I needed something and this was free! It works for now, I'll get it replaced as soon as I find a nice looking white one.

And for free, they were hard to beat! They need cleaned up a little bit still though. I just wanted to get them on so that I could beat the car around a bit. I was too worried about the rusted steelies with weather cracked bald(ing) tires on were going to fail.

I ordered some Sumitomo HTR 200s just today. I got 185/60R13(s) instead, $46 each. My buddy Bob turned me on to them. I liked them on his car and ordered some from TireRack. Should have them the 12th.

TireRack suggested the same size tire for me... But I went with these instead. They should be fine.

I wish I could've got 2 sets for $300... Where'd you pull that off from?!

I noticed they dont recommend the HTR 200s for winter driving. I dont plan on driving mine in the winter anyway.
