yup, just a little b3. had a fresh rebuild on it and my buddy couldn't get it to pas DEQ, so i bought it off of him for the cost of the rebuild and decided to build a buggy out of it. I used the every part of the car i could......... steering column (had to extend it), rack, tie rods, shifter and linkage (waaaaaaay extended to get to the back of the engine), and pretty much all the suspension and driveline. The only thing i didn't use from the front suspension was the sway bar. I had to make the LCA's into a-arms so that they wouldn't move forward/backward. I had to convert it to hydraulic clutch too with a CNC sandrail pedal assembly. I figure if you build a little frame setup like this in the rear of a fester....... you could make it RWD!! :thumbright: :thumbright:

I got the beast running today. This thing is going to kick sooooo much @$$!!! as soon as i get the oil seal in the turbo fixed and get the throttle cable hooked up she's ready to rock and roll. well, it needs a skid plate too.project fester powered buggy needs some fine tuning and a turbo seal. sorry it's been a while since i've posted up on the progress of the buggy.
haha! she just took her first voyage up the road and back today! she hesitated for a little while and i couldn't figure out what the hell happened to it, then i saw that the air meter wasn't plugged in. I'm a tard! so, here's a few more pics of it. enjoy.
oh yeah, and SiezedFestiva....... i'll have to take u up on that sometime. it would be fun cuz everyone puts vw motors in theirs.... we would be different!
