        Fuel door progress



        Filled it in with body filler, then got it sanded below flush with the rest of the door.


        Skim coat of filler



        After sanding




        Going to prime it, and possibly do another skim coat and re-sand it if it needs it..
        -93' L BP swap/e-series, coilovers, RIO front swap, redrilled festy drums, Miata 14" 7 spokes.
        -88' Mazda 323 SE, work in progress..
        -85' Nissan Sentra 5 spd.

          LOL must of taken you an hour to sand that off...36 grit!

          Nice progress though. I want to remove and shave one of my festivas eventually. Do the tail light pimptiva mod.!

            New steering wheel, and more fuel door progress pics

              I'm liking the fuel door, FFL. Thought about something like that a few times, just never had the time, and more importantly, the patience to mess with it. Looking Good!

                it looks like you have one of those atm camera behind your Mazda emblem with the reflection... is that a whole diff steering wheel cause it looks alot cleaner/newer....

                  Thats a whole different wheel, the old one was faded bad and smooth in some spots, this one is alot nicer

                          It looks like you brushed them .

                          The brush and the can works a lot better and last longer than the spray .
