    Here in Worland, WY I don't have very many opportunities to photograph lightning. So usually, I don't get anything spectacular. But tonight I did pretty well for a rank amateur.

        WOW!!! you take great pics!!! do you do photography as a hobby or job or somthing? what type of camera do you have?

            Nice pics. Not bad for a "rank amateur". 3 and 4 are definitely very cool pictures.

                My problem is I only see the good stuff when I forgot the camera. lol.

                        Thanks for the positive comments.

                        I have a Sony A100. Photography is just a hobby with me. I'm always learning new things. I must have taken 200 photos and only 10 were worth keeping. And I too, often don't have my camera when I need it.

                          Perfect example. Two weekends ago, I was hiking on the mountain behind my house. Walked to with 25 yards of a mother Black Bear and her cub. Watched them for 10 or 15 minutes or so, and walked back the way I had came. Don't think they ever knew I was there. And where's my camera? Sitting at the house, next to the door, where I laid it right before I walked out.

                          Nice pics gottafesty, you gotta be on top of your game to catch pics like that of lightning.
