  • look what i saw at the drag strip....

when i got there i was expecting a bunch of hondas, vw's, and a copple rx7... the usual... and when i was comming back from tech i turned the corner and saw somthing that was so awesome it blew my mind.... i think the pics speak for them self....

he said that he is using the stock festiva trans... and i have proof that it held at 14.463 @100.11mph... he got going faster by the end of the night but i cant remember his time...

and this was another car that i thought worthy of a copple pics...

and if that isnt the coolest thing you ever did see there is more... i got to race him lol... im gonna edit that vid tonight and post it up, just give me a bit of time... and im super happy tonight cause i finaly got in to the 18 sec range... my fastest time of the day was 18.827 @ 68.93mph... so thats a bit better than last time... my clutch was doing alot better today and was getting good launches the time i raced the bpt festiva i got a better 60 foot time than him and that was a ok launch... i had a awesome launch later that day, my 60 foot time on that one was 2.455

here is that vid... the first part of it is me racing him and the next part is of him making a solo pass and sorry about the vid ending so soon on the last part, i ran out of space on my sd card... and if i had sat there and deleted some stuff i would have missed the pass... anyways i hope you like it

For real. With the speed it's running, a better 60 foot time would put it in the 13's

As for you, that's a pretty good time for the speed you ran. What did you do? Shut it off early? If not, you must have had a good launch.

no that run you saw of me in the car i had the aspire lifters in my motor but every time i got past 5000 rpm it would valve float so i changed them back to the festiva ones and then i could get up to 6000 rpm thats how i got my 18sec run... and i think he was a little slow on the launch cause he didnt want to break the trans... he is a member on here but i dont know how much he logs on... maby he can post up some pics of the build or somthing, ill talk to him next week end if i get my b6t done and im out at the track. he said that he is getting a megasquirt for it too! so maby then he can blow up the trans lol...

Wow. I'd love to see more of that car, especially with a beefier tranny. Thanks for the pics. Unfortunately, flash isn't supported on my iPhone though so I didn't see the video. YouTube is good though! heheh

That close to finishing your B6T already eh? Swweeet. Might have to check it out sometime...those ferries are a downright monopoly though! errr...
