I once went to pick up a used stove with my Festiva. The guy selling the stove was laughing at us until we loaded it in back and shut the hatch... I think he felt like a jackass after... lol, priceless
The old lady that I got (rescued) my Festiva from used it to haul (and store) firewood. She told me that half a cord will fit in it. From the way it looked when I got it, she knows what she's talking about.
Festiva: Because even my dog can build a Honda.

Ha, when I first got the Batstiva, I used to haul mulch in it. Had a place where I could take all I wanted. Just had to bag it, and throw it in the Fester. So, everyday after work, I'd stop and bag up 4 or 5 bags, toss 'em in the back, and head up the road.

Yeah when I had my festiva I had this idea of a mobile mechanic and I was going to use my festiva. I had a plan to have the tool boxes on rails so they could be extended out of the back of the festiva. I figured people break down so instead of having to take it to a shop I could just come to them and fix it. Or that you may not have time to do regular maint on a car so I could come to your work and take care of it. But than I realized that most businesses wouldn't like it if I was changing oil in their parking lot.

Been there done that in Bruce. I could take a work table and 3 boxs as well as a 2 ton picker (broken down of course) all the way to Leavenworth and back 3 times a week. Never broke 65 with that load but saved a ton on gas.
Hahaha well I was going to put the bp engine in it with new suspension and aspire brakes. I even had a name picked out I think it was monkey wrench mobile mechanic or something like that. I was going to get the car painted and have the euro body kit on it.
