    • Is that the Cayman green? What's up with the two square cutouts where the back armrest would be...the speakers mount in the trunk area?

        • When you had the whole interior out you can see two square holes on each side where the armrests would be in back...any idea what that is for?

Are you talking about in the metal behind the plastic pieces? Or the plastic panels at the very back end for access to the tail light bulbs?

              • I think it is pic 13 down...the two square holes on the left and one rectangular hole on the right....those are the ones I am curious about...

                Interior was messy.. crap everywhere..

This thing has no options at all.. not even defrost.. that'll change soon though

Got all the junk out of the car, then stripped the interior (That was the first time I have pulled the carpet on a festiva and not find any rustholes or rust in general

Newer carpet ready to be installed

Interior back together now with better carpet and rear hatch/cargo area panels

                • Okay, then I think you are looking at the little plastic panels that pop out to give access to the tail lights. Both the panels and the lights are out in that pic, which is why it looks funny, cause you're looking through two openings that aren't normally there.

You lose by default, but you would have lost anyway.

Nice work on the car FFL. That is turning into an A-one festy. Glad to see you got that inner LCA bolt out w/o trouble.

Thanks Marcus, those bolts were a piece of cake to get out. Even on my parts car they were which surprised me didn't even use PB on my parts car and that thing was rusty almost everywhere..

                        • Exhaust work..

Exhaust off my 90 L+ parts car

                          Catalitic converter off the 93'

Old cat removed from the exhaust

                          Muffler off the 90' L+

                          My "new" exhaust

Everything went smoothly with the exhaust, it's really quiet at idle now.
