  • Well, okay maybe my LCAs and bushings weren't quite as bad as they seemed at the time, but they ain't pretty.

    Old and Busted....

    New Hotness!!

The best of the old bushings next to a new one.

Wonder why my steering was so sloppy??

    • ^ yeah, what brand of swaybar bushings are those? I used MOOG on mine, my old lower control arm ball joints had a bit of play in them.. definitely needed replacing.

      • The LCAs are BAW, whoever that is, so I'm assuming the bushings are as well. Those are going on the car tomorrow, I have to replace bearings in the right front, so for tonight, Eeyore gets to sleep on jackstands. Took the opportunity, while it was off, to repaint my sway bar as well. Looks like crap, but better than before.

Those wheels that used to be on Damkid's car back when B6T owned it are from a Miata, and you need to have the aspire swap to use them.

                            • he had a low pressure oil light on......it's still on. I told him to shy away from fram filters and switch the sensor and check the wiring since the pump didn't make the matter go away.

                              • Scrappy has the same issue (and the LX too), it's in the dash wiring... there's a relay that grounds the lamp to turn it on and that relay has NOTHING to do with the oil pressure switch. as soon as i care enough to hunt it down, i'll post the problem and the fix. (both cars have at LEAST 40psi oil pressure)
