Worked on the car most of the day today, last week I had swapped out the Master Cylinder with a good one (old one was garbage!) and today I re-bled the brakes, finally they work like they should I love these new brakes. Got everything ready for inspection now, which will be tomorrow I think I don't see any reason why the car wouldn't pass, so hopefully I'll be driving this thing here in the next few days!!-93' L BP swap/e-series, coilovers, RIO front swap, redrilled festy drums, Miata 14" 7 spokes.

^^ I hear ya. My next one will be an FI car. Just to make a swap easier down the line.
Although, can't really complain about my carby. 5 degrees this morning, hit the key, gave it no gas, and it fired right up.

She PASSED inspection, and is all legal to drive now!!! The mechanic who inspected it was really impressed with the car (bought the car from him, and the last time he saw it it looked like it did on the first page of this thread.) He liked the aspire brake swap and VX's and said I did a very good job on the car, and that I should be proud of it. Love how it handles with the brake swap and everything else, it's a much nicer car now!-93' L BP swap/e-series, coilovers, RIO front swap, redrilled festy drums, Miata 14" 7 spokes.

I have most everything needed for the swap, and I'd prolly convert it over to MTX while it's all apart, if I do that I'd use a aspire trans most likely.

Originally posted by 25Horseplay View PostFred if you convert this car to MTX KEEP the 89 ATX FI set up, the car will be peppier. I have talked this over with FB71 and even if you swap in a B6 the vac advance set up will be a faster setup. This is a unique FI set up and very good for stock or B6 swap's.
