I was thinking of doing something similar myself. Makes it a little harder if someone wants to try and steal your spoiler I think. Did you just fill in the spoiler bolt areas with the duraglass? Will that hold the bolts good for when you attatch the nut from inside the hatch?

yeah it holds good jsut make sure the head of the bolt is bigger than the bolt hole.

So Im guessing that when you drilled the holes for the spoiler, you just drilled all the way through to the inside of the hatch and then opened those inside holes up to allow you to put the nuts and washers on?

first i drilled small holes all the way through for the bolts then i when to the bigger one to allow a nut and so i could get a 7/16 socket in to tighten no washers also to put the plugs in to look nice witch are from my spare hatch. the square hole was a messed up drill by a friend helping so i just made it a square it still needs work to look a little nicer but it will do for now.
