I think this is the best festiva truck conversion because the bed has been lengthened. My buddy Jack (who built the festar) Has been working on this one for a while. It is FAR from finished. Even the doors are stock charcoal grey color. Aspire brake swap and escort ZX-2 alloys (he got those from me). After all the body work suits him he will paint it close to the stock royal blue color and give it 2 wide white stripes down the hood and roof.

What's the rear suspension setup? It doesn't look like he's retained the stock strut/shock towers.Ian

Just factory 88 L seats recovered. He painted the door handles, door pulls, sun visors, window cranks, and seat plastic. The mirrors are RX-7 I think. The spare is in the stock location. There are other cubby holes in the bed as well. It will be tight when he is done. The builder is holding his ice tea in one of the pics. He's as humble and fun and nice as he is talented.Last edited by neanderpaul; 07-01-2009, 11:28 PM.youtube.com/neanderpaul 88 festiva LX w/BP G25 MR 5 speed waiting for wiring- 93 Festiva GL auto w/ air, waiting for B6t/G4A-HL - 98 Nissan Quest - 02 Mazda protege 5 wife's DD

He wouldn't let me post pics until now. He would probably rather I waited until it was done, but he got tired of waiting and wanted to start driving it. So I got tired of waiting too! And decided to post the pics! :lol:youtube.com/neanderpaul 88 festiva LX w/BP G25 MR 5 speed waiting for wiring- 93 Festiva GL auto w/ air, waiting for B6t/G4A-HL - 98 Nissan Quest - 02 Mazda protege 5 wife's DD
